Description
View of the eclipse of the full moon above safety nets on a building site in La Paz, Bolivia on the night of September 27th, 2015. This image was taken as the moon started to leave the earth's shadow. September's full moon was also the closest so called supermoon of 2015, and the first full moon of spring in the southern hemisphere. It was also called a Blood Moon because it presents the fourth and final eclipse of a lunar tetrad: four straight total eclipses of the moon, spaced at six lunar months (full moons) apart.
