Excellent shot, James. Love the beautiful colors amidst the several shades of grey of the rock. Well done.

Description:

Sajama volcano (6542m / 21,465ft) in western Bolivia is the country's highest peak and rises dramatically above the barren altiplano desert landscape. The green plant in the foreground is Yareta (Azorella compacta), which is endangered and only found in the high altitude deserts of the Andes. Due to the cold dry climate it is very slow growing (up to 1cm / year) and is also used by local people for fuel.
